Piano Moving Process

We start off with calculating the price. Our company takes flat rate fee for piano transportation alone. Numerous factors will play a big role at calculating a rate of relocation. Some of them are: type of the piano, it’s weight, presence of stairs and transportation surface. Plus the price may vary depending on how complex the structure of staircase is. Usually 2 movers are fairly enough to deal with a piano on a flat surface and we need 3 movers minimum to relocate a grand piano.

After a customer accepts the price and reserves a relocation date, our moving experts will arrive to your house. First, they wrap the piano with blankets and then they shrink wrap to avoid a piano from scuffing. Our experts remove grand piano’s legs to be able to carry out a piano outside. We use skid board to lower the piano. Then we place a piano on a special 4-wheel dolly to get it on the truck. Further, we carefully strap a piano to the walls of the truck. When a piano is delivered to a new place the process is done vice versa.
